Advice on postponing our wedding..

First and foremost congratulations on your soon to be new addition! As far as the postponement goes, great idea on the website. I would hold off on the "we're expecting" announcement until you're out of the first trimester. Just let your guests know you have had to change the date of your wedding because of unforseen circumstances and then when you're ready let them know the real reason. Either way...so exciting for you!

Thanks so much for all your wonderful advice! I have my first dr.'s appt this Wednesday.

 

It looks like postponing is more feasible than pushing forward only because of financial reasons for my guests. I want them to have enough time to save.

 

As soon as we pick a new date I will send something saying we are postponing due to unforeseen circumstances.. that way i can tell people when i am ready.
