His bloodwork seems okay, but his platelets are really low, so they sent it to a lab for testing. It doesnt look like any foreign objects are in his abdomen, but his colon is backed up with gas. Everything else looks normal.

I had the same thing happen to my dog, and after seeing a few different vets, he was finally diagonosed with IBD (irritable bowel disease)
It is alomost like he developed an allergy to his food...
He is now fine since we put him on a corn, wheat, soy and animal bi-porduct free diet!
The first few vets tried to tell me he was fine, or it was gas.... but we knew it was more because he stopped eating, and he had blood in his stool too.
You might want to check out IBD...
