You can do this. I ave agree; dress! dress! dress!

After that, did you want to make invites or have them printed? How many are you sending?

The location is the biggest thing, at least it ws for me. You are good there

Welcome, and no worries you can get it all done. I agree with everyone else, the dress is the first priority followed by invitations. I went dress shopping this weekend and was glad I started because some places need a lot of lead time.

As for invitations, I found a place online that did my DW invites and they were reasonable and pretty fast. I can't find the link right now, but I'll look it up when I get home and post it then.

Wow!! First off it is amazing how helpful everyone is. I dont think I did my explinaiton justice. I will have a little over 30 people attending my wedding at the El Dorado. I have made reservations and sent out save the dates. I know I need to get my dress pronto, so this week I will get that done. I guess my first questions is the range of time I need to send out the invitations. I know I need at least 30 days to get a good head count for reservations for the wedding day. Also, what do I include in the invitation? I have looked at several but nothing really is standing out. I did a DIY save the date that went over great. I haven't even thought of doing my own invitation. Any suggestion would be lovely!!!

I'm glad your STDs went over well! Now, as for the real invitation. I know a lot of ladies are sending thiers out about 4 months in advance. That will allow you plenty of time for them to RSVP so you can do such projects as OOT bags if you'd like. So, that means that it's a good time to purchase invitations. From what I've read and what I've designed, there are a bunch of things you CAN include in an invite. First off, accomodations, travel agent information, wedding website information, welcome dinner info, RSVP to wedding and to AHR (if applicable) and a AHR card. Obviously, you don't need to include all of these things.

If you are going to make your own, there are many designs that are very simple for the "noncrafty" person, and then there are some more difficult ideas. It depends what kind of a look you are going for.

Let me know if you have any questions or need any suggestions

i would say send your invites out asap. especially if you are invluding rsvp's to be mailed back. i sent mine out in jan (sent early jus to remind those who had put off making reservations to get a move on it) with an rsvp deadling set in march. i just turned in my headcount to my WC. Some people don't get the concept of returning rsvp's, so sending thme out early will allow you to track down anyone who didn't send theirs and confirm if they are or aren't attending and get your headcount in on time.
