Hair flower backing ~ which one is best?

HELP!! I'm ordering my hair flower (a large white Gardenia flower) and need to decide what kind of backing I want:

 

pin back, bobby pin, ponytail, snap clip, hairpin, French barrette, or alligator clip ........

 

Good lord, I didn't know there were so many choices. Which one is best?

 

For the ceremony I am either wearing my hair completely up in a loose bun or half up/half down. Then during the reception it will all be down in loose curls, but still using the flower.

I would say to ask your hair stylist.

 

If you don't have one or are using the resort.. I think that the most versatile would be a bobby pin, snap pin or french barrette.

mariesam, i cannot tell you without practically shouting...

 

GET AN ALLIGATOR CLIP! that sucker did NOT move at all once it was in my hair after the ceremony & i took off my veil. i also had a thread about this way back if you do an advanced search for it.
