I was hoping to find a Canadian store that showed the stock available in the store (like BestBuy or Future Shop does) to save you some time but this is all I could find for now:

I found this one on the Toys R Us website. It is in stock so they can ship it asap Toys"R"Us - Snoogle Total Body Pillow I would call a store near you to check stock before going there.

I checked online at HomeOutfitters, Zellers, Sears, Shoppers, and didn't find much but that doesn't mean they don't have them in store. If I go by any of these stores in my area today after work I'll check it out.

Michelle, I am sorry I really have no advice to offer but I wanted to let you know I am so sorry for what you are going through. I cant even imagine how difficult that must be for you. I hope things heal quickly so you can move on with your life and put this in your past.

Michelle - I can't only image what you are going through right now. It must be so difficult. I to am a nurse and deal with them all the time. There is a no sting barrier adhesive that is called Skin Prep. We put it on around the stoma before the wafer, it toughen ups the skin. Also, I'm not sure if you have the traditional bag, but if you look at medical supply stores the bags they have come out with no are amazing. They have disposable bags and they have filtered bags so the air does not accumulate. If yu have the traditional bag I can see why you be so afraid to leave the house. I think the disposable bags are better because at the bottom, they won't leak. I hope this helps. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate.

Michelle,

I went through the same process three years ago. The key to the bag is cut the whole as small as you can. It will reduce the area that 'it' will come into contact with your skin. Some of the barrier creams worked. I did not use them all that much; only when my skin was really bad. I found that most of the barrier creams lead to more leakage. That is not a scientifically proven fact just my opinion. I sleep on the couch for aleast a month so I could be semi upright. You can use a regular pillow and just use it to support your bag. I am a side sleeper and that is what I did. I also loved the two piece system. That way you can change the bag but not have to mess with the flange. That made me feel a little more clean. It takes time to get a system down. Everyone is different. As soon as I got my system down it was time to get rid of it. NOT THAT I WAS COMPLAINING!

J-pouch.org is a good site to go for information.

I will PM you my email address so you can email if you need too. I was very fortunate that my grandmother has had one since I was born '79 and she came to help me out.
