I can't decide on a photographer : (

Hi Girls,

 

I have been trying to pick a photographer & I am not having any luck. So far I have narrowed it down to Gabriel Garcia, Gilda, Jose Lima and Alberto. If any of you have used any of them or have some tips on deciding that would be great!

I don't know anyone on your list, but I decided on my photographer, Juan Carlos Tapia last week and can tell you what was important to me. I looked at websites and prior wedding albums done by photographers and picked the one that to me made me feel as if I had attended by looking at the pictures. It was important that I get a dvd of all photos in the price and that the phtographer was responsive to my questions. Part of it is a matter of taste, since not everyone likes the same photos and, of course, there is the cost. I ended up going with someone more expensive because I just loved his photos - plus he has many positive reviews here. I also liked Tomas Barron in my research for Cabo photographers. Good luck!

I'm using Juan Carlos as well, Juan Carlos Tapia Photography . After seeing his beautiful pictures and speaking with him on the phone numerous times I know I made the right choice. Just look through the forum at wedding pictures and read the reviews. That should help you out I think. Its definitely what I did.

Im using Gilda and so far Im really happy with her. I met with her on my site visit and she was extremely professional and seemed really great to work with. I think her prices are very good compared to the others as well.

I'm having that same dilemma. I'm trying to decide between Manuel Burgoin and Mango Weddings.

My vote goes to Jose followed by Gilda. Jose's style is clean and crisp, and the colors seem to be correctly saturated. I see a lot of unsaturated photos these days and it's not a style I dig.

Gabriel Garcia and Gilda were my top choices but Gilda wasn't available for my wedding. Gabriel has been great so far though! I loved the pics on his website, and he's been really prompt in returning my emails. I found his prices were really reasonable too. Hope this helps somewhat

I had Jaun Carlos for my wedding in Cabo on Oct. 20th...We do not have pics yet.....but I can't say enough for his work based upon his website and other links from the forum. He captured us and in spite of the fact that he is pricey....we would not have gone with anyone else! You get what you pay for:)

We're going with Alberto! We couldn't afford over the top prices and he has been really good to communicate with. He is doing our video as well

Natasha, have you been able to decide on a photographer I have been looking into bringing my own photographer as well but there are so many options!
