Having a Band "Thinned"

Just wondering if anyone had done that with a wedding band. The one I am thinking of getting FH has some embellishments, but it's just too wide across the top. Other than that, it's his dream ring so I'd really like to get it for him.

 

Here are a few pics. Its the embellishments that I'm worried about..the crosses and the diamonds. Not sure they could mess with the width and save the detailing.

Hmmm... I honestly have no idea how altering jewelry works, but can you take these pics to a jeweler and have it made exactly how you want it instead?

I would maybe take the ring to a jeweler and see what they think.. They may be able to alter it for you.
