I changed my mind!!

After almost two months of planning day and night, I thought I had EVERYTHING set for a private beach wedding in Pedregal and a reception to follow at the villa.. invitations were ready to go, and some guests already bought their tickets!!---And then everything just seemed to fall apart..very, very quickly!

First I found out that the villa I fell in love with JUST got rented for the same week I am going (I didnt put the deposit down fast enough), and then I found out about all the rules and restrictions in Pedregal, and found out that it was going to be a lot more hectic than what I was planning..

A travel agent called maybe 10 minutes after I find all this out, and I just broke down on the phone with her (she was calling to offer her services.. haha, I am almost positive she never wouldve expected having a woman crying on the other end of the line!) I'm totally NOT emotional,..but it all just hit me, and I freaked out.

Amy was sooo sweet and comforting, and reassured me that everything happens for a reason,..and that it was all going to turn out okay..

She gave me a few hints to check out some hotels that were offering fantastic special packages right now,..so I looked into it.

NOW I AM GETTING MARRIED AT HOTEL FINISTERRA! I am very excited about it, and realize that planning everything by myself is NOT the way to go.. I always had the mentality that you only have a wedding once, so why not fully emurge into the planning and take everything in, haha.. from now on I am leaving it to the professionals, and, involving everyone (both sets of parents, and anyone that has already offered help)!!

 

Just thought I'd write and let you all know! Eventhough it was a huge stressful situation, I'm glad it happened, and feel like a huge weight has been liften off my shoulders!!

I'm glad you were able to figure everything out! Wedding planning can be so stressful sometimes, so it's nice that now you will have others to rely on! Congrats on booking your wedding location! I'm sure lots of hotel F brides on this forum will be here to help you out

Well, it is true that everything happens for a reason.. And like I said, Finisterra is an awesome hotel, is built around a hill and upon the cliff's, really great views and also, one of the first hotels in Cabo; so you know you're in for a great time.
