I haven't gotten in my car yet this morning. Is Artie back?

No, he's not there. I started listening about 30 minutes into the show and heard them say he was at the doctor and hoped to be in later. They were joking about his doctor being available to him at 6:30 a.m. Why couldn't he go to the doctor after the show? Is he THAT sick? Seems fishy...

I hope he really is sick too (that's the first time I've said that about anybody, haha). If he swore on his father's grave, I want to believe him too. It was pretty obvious in his book how important his dad was to him and how devastated he was after his death

Any update on Artie girls? I haven't been listening this week. Last week I heard he said it was a bleeding ulcer but I think the jury is out on who believes him...

I did miss the beginning of his first day back when he explained it all. I also heard he has a bleeding ulcer and he admitted to only going to 1.5 outpatient rehab sessions! He's been lying the entire time! Gary was very hurt by this.

Yeah OK I just watched the "Artie Lied!" episode on Howard TV. Wow. I feel bad for everyone who cares so much about him..it's probably hard to just sit by and watch him not get help But they're right...Artie's gonna do what Artie's gonna do. I just hope he does the right thing...

ok, I'm still working on the Artie book, but just got creeped out reading the chapter where Artie got thrown in jail after throwing the produce (very funny, by the way) & he mentioned his time on the Jerry Maguire set. It was a little eerie reading about how they weren't allowed to talk to Jett (Kelly Preston's son). I wouldn't have thought too much about it, except it was morbidly timely with his death this weekend. ugh....very sad.

 

Anyone else to finally have the crew back (I can't get in to the retrospectives)?

SO glad! I hated the "best of" series...it was kinda fun at first but then it got annoying really quick.

 

I agree with the Jett/Jerry Maguire thing...I was thinking about that this weekend actually. Creeeeeepy.

Art's in rehab?!? I got in my car as they were speaking with him on the phone. He sounds good (the little bit I did hear). I'm praying for you, baby Gorilla!
