Hi I am getting married at Playa pesquero in Holguin Cuba and I am wondering if anyone has been there recently ? I was hestitant in booking it because of the recent damage caused by hurricane Ike ...But I was assured it has been repaired ..My fiance and I vacationed there last April ,2 days after our engagement and absolutely loved it ! We plan to be married there April 10th 09'...I have to choose a wedding theme..Does anyone have advice ?

Hi Constance!

 

Welcome to the forum. There wasn't any damage to Playa Pesquero from the hurricanes - it was mostly just debris and clean up. In fact, Playa Pesquero was the hotel most of the people were sent to after the other hotels were damaged!

 

Everything is back to normal now!
