Help! I saw a picture of a brown lasso with white flowers somewhere on here... but since I am a photo stalker I can't remember where, and really want to find a picture so I can have one made!

just curious about how you're including a lazo in your ceremony... we had one because it's a traditional mexican catholic thing.

I am having a wedding outside the Catholic church... which is a big deal as you know. So I am trying to bring some of the more spiritual traditions to the beach. I am going for romantic mexico... so we are going to do the hand ceremony and thought this would be nice. Do you think it's silly outside the church?

Hi Kate,

 

I don't think it is silly at all. I think it is a wonderful idea to incorporate the lazo into your ceremony and would be similar in symbolism to the unity candle or sand ceremony. Since you are getting married in Mexico I think it is very special of you to want to incorporate traditional Mexican elements in your ceremony!
