Zama Beach Club Drama

Hello All-

I'm getting married on June 6th, 2009 at the Zama Beach Club. I thought it was the perfect location until a got a call from my wedding planner saying that Zama was raising prices after we agreed on a contract and placed a deposit.

Is anyone else dealing with this issue?

I really want to fight because this is so unethical but I'm scared of retaliation.

I feel so helpless and know so stressed about what else may go wrong.

I think that's illegal. Especially if you have a contract.

If you have a contract I can't see how they can do that to you. A contract protects you and them.

I also have a contract with Zama's and haven't gotten back to my wedding planner...I am frustrated too and am not cool with paying more since I also have a contract and put down the deposit...

I would check the contract they should not be able to increase the price after the deposit is paid

I agree with Sally. Read the entire contract. If it doesn't state anything about prices being able to change, fight it completely!

I hope you can fight it. The resort we picked states that the prices for 2009 weren't set when we booked so they could increase our price without notice. They did respond on there own forum the prices will be same as 2008 and don't anticipate a change in prices.
