Beach Reads, Please?

So, DH and I leave for French Polynesia for our honeymoon in a couple of weeks and I need some beach reading material!! Everything I've been reading lately is too heavy for what I want... fun, silly, fluffy, light, pick it up, put it down sorts of stuff is what I'm after.

 

Anyone have any suggestions for me? Oh, and it has to be available in paperback...

Janet Ivanivich has a GREAT series...They are Hilarious with a great story!!

It's her 'Stephanie PLun" Series and each book is a different number. She's up to 14 right now..But even the begining numbers from 1 on..are sooo great! They are perfect for the beach!!

I second Janet Evanivich, I have read all the Stephanie Plum and count down to the next. You will literally laugh out loud! I passed them on or I would send them to you.

Try Sophie Kinsella's "confessions of a shopaholic". I read it years ago and there is a whole series actually. " shopaholic takes manhattan" etc. It's what i consider perfect beach reading. I think they are in the process of making a movie even.

I've been hooked lately on James Patterson and Mary Higgins Clark. Also by far my favorite is any of the Harry Potter books!

I took "You'll never nanny in this town again" and it was a great beach read. I also read and finished "Wicked".

Don't know if it comes in paperback, but it's an old book by Terry McMillan called "A Day and A Dollar Short" . The book was encyclopedia thick but I finished it in a couple days cause it was so good and had so many loops!
