Netflix - tips and plans?

Who has Netflix? Do you like it? I heard that they can be slow on the return and shipping of the next movie.

 

What plan do you have?

I have netflix, and love it. I have never had a problem with them getting the next movie out to me. I did notice if I send a movie back for them to recieve it on the weekend then I will get the next movie on tuesday.

The only thing I don't like is they promote the newest released movies, ie: if it is released this week, it isn't announced on netflix.

I have had Netflix for 3 years w/FH and he had it since it came out. We love it. We got the package where we get 2 DVDs at a time. I think we pay about $17/month. We get our movies really quick but it depends on how close you are to a distribution center, we live in NJ and there is one in NY. I love that we keep them as long as we like and since we have watched soo many movies now we try to get one tv series and one movie at a time.

We also have it and really like it we are currently doing the 2 movies at a time. They are pretty quick getting new movies out.

I have Netflix and really enjoy it! I have the one at a time 2/month plan ($4 something/month). Only once did we received a DVD that didn't play correctly. I went online to report it and had a replacement within a day. Super fast shipping. If something gets lost they will send out another right away. I will admit that over the past few months we've had the same movie and not watched it. It's worth it if you have the time to keep up with the movies.

alyssa, my mom has it (not sure which plan) but i know that she likes how you cxan go online and organize/re-organize your next-up list, so you will automatically get the next one you request.

 

of course this could be a con to some people, if you tend to pick random movies and maybe you get one you werent in the mood to watch.??

i have it & love it.

 

the shipping times depend on your location- they have distribution centers around the US, so the time it takes to receive the dvds depends mostly on that.

 

i am in madison, and we do have a distribution center here, so it usually takes me about 3 days between mailing & receiving a new movie.

 

so the dvd i mailed this morning will be replaced with a new one on wednesday.

 

we are currently on the 3-at-a-time plan, and love it. we are pretty serious about it, and go through tons of movies. we also watch a bunch online while running on the treadmill too.
