This is a bad shot but mine was created using FI Grandmothers wedding ring. We took out two stones, leaving 4 diamond on each side, cut the ring down the middle and added a beautiful yellow 1.5 ct diamond as the center stone. I am wearing it alone as the ring is already big enough. I love it because it his Grandma was really special to him and it makes me feel great to have a family heirloom.

Finally, finally....I have got a pretty good picture of my ring....not wonderful, since I don't believe pictures do any of our gorgeous rings justice

Excuse my "old lady" hands....they look SUPER wrinkled in this pic...haha! Weird ??

And my mom's favorite part....the light up box it came in....hehehe

Okay, so I know you all think I'm completely mad, but, this is what I changed my ring for. Just a completely plain solitaire ering, and a completely plain band. I know, I know, my FMIL already told me how crazy I was. But, I LOVE LOVE LOVE It! And I can't stop staring at it, and i think i'ts so much more beautiful, so I am happy.

and yes, Glenda, you're right too, the next step, pick a bloody place already!! How am I going to be about the dress... oh dear.

Ok, I'll play! I wanted something very unique for my ring, and he really stepped up to the plate:

I'm probably going to get a plain platinum band to go with it. Anything more would be too much I think.

I think you all have absolutely beautiful rings!! I went and looked at rings and picked this one as my "dream" ring. I still can't believe I get to wear this everyday!! It is a platinum Tacori ring. The band has .75cts. and the main diamond I believe is 1.02cts. The main diamond is an emerald cut with two smaller emerald cuts on either side.

I need opinions on the band though. On the engagement ring, the design only goes halfway around. On the wedding band that is designed to go with it, the design goes all the way around. Would these look funny together or is it just me being paranoid? Any opinion would help because I just don't know!
