Ive been married for a month now and I still enjoy looking at this forum from time to time.  I opted to go for a very simple solitaire 4 prong round diamond engagment ring and a round diamond eternity wedding band.  Although I love my classic set, I sometimes wonder what I would've chosen if I didn't have this.  I think I like looking at this page for anniversary ring ideas down the road, lol!

Thanks to everyone for sharing their gorgeous rings!  And congratulations to all on your engagements! I still find it hard to believe, but my amazing fiance designed, cast, and set my engagement ring :-)  Though he had never done anything like this before, he did such an amazing job.  Even better is that he made me a video of the entire process to show me after the engagement: Our destination wedding is in April.  Now I'm getting ready to make HIS wedding band.  He'll be helping me but I'm not as crafty as he is so I'm a bit nervous :-)  I love that he thought to do this and learned an entire hobby for me... I never imagined I'd have something with this much sentimental value.   Thanks for letting me share and Happy Holidays :-)

I have a marquise cut diamond as well....I love mine so much!   I haven't seen too many other  marquise cuts out there.

Is this from the Vera Wang Collection? I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE- I so would have chosen this for my ring had it been around when I got engaged. I love the little hint of blue and love the intricate detailing. It looks great from whatever angle. I would be staring at it all day as I'm sure you are. It is probably my favorite ring on this thread even more so than mine! LOL Whenever we go back into Zales to have my ring cleaned I always look around and find all these rings I love that weren't around when I got engaged. My fiance is always pulling me away from the cases hahaha.
