OK, so this is the general idea of what I was thinking when I said "basket cut" - I'm pretty sure I made that up! This one is way too wide though - 11 mm.

Is anyone skipping the wedding band? I like my ring on it's own and would have to have a band custom made if I am going to get one.... Just thinking maybe it's an expense not needed?

 

Or maybe a more basic one for a right hand ring?

I think you should do whatever you want for your wedding band! You could get a basic one (or even a fancy one) for your right hand and wear your wedding band separate from your engagement ring. Or if your e-ring is substantial on its own then just use that as your wedding ring as well. Do you have pics of your e-ring?
