Has this happened to anyone else?

My first instinct was that if you sent them a STD then you should send an invite. I was actually surprised that not more of the responses said that. So, it got me thinking and it is your wedding. You should do what makes you happy. If any of those people said yes and it would mean you weren't going to have a good time, then don't send invites. But, I agree with pp that some people might be waiting for them even if they haven't talked to you in a little while.

Thanks for all of your input! I feel better knowing that others have similar situations. The reasons that some of you think I shouldn't send an invite and others think I should, is almost the exact dialogue I've been having in my head! :) Since I wasn't super good friends with the girl who cut herself off anyway, I'm leaning towards not sending. I'm pretty confident that even if I sent her an invite, she wouldn't go, and i don't want her to feel like I'm looking for a gift.

As for the other 2, since there are no bad feelings, its just we're not as close anymore, I think its best to send an invite. I actually think they may come (they've both told me)! For some reason, I still feel a little awkward about it.

I guess if they're willing to make the effort/spend the money to come to my wedding, they must still want to maintain a friendship, right?

I hate that weddings make you have to analyze and reevaluate all your friendships! Ughh! :)

Thanks everyone!
