Need Help - Franc Gole or Sebastian Salon?

I need help from all you lovely ladies out there. I'm getting married next March and I want to book hair and make-up for my wedding day. I'm debating between Franc Gole and Sebastian. I'm not a bridezilla but I'm really picky about having perfect hair and make-up. (I've had too many updo's gone wrong when I was a bridesmaid.) Can someone give me some insight into which is better? I know Franc Gole is a little more expensive and I'm willing to spend more, I just want to know they do a great job.

I am having the same issue. I heard Franco does great make-up, but not great hair. Then I got a referral for Len at Blu. I just don't know what to do. I would love to be able to see photos of past brides that used someone in Puerto Vallarta

Franc did my hair in Nov. 2010 and did an amazing job... I just got on here and I will try to figure out how to upload some photos.... he did makeup as well which was fab but FYI Franc doesn´t work at the same salon anymore.  

 

And I don´t want to get into too much details but his ex business partner from his salon is still taking reservations under Franc´s name and website.    Franc´s salon is currently being run by Jesus who is the makeup artist and Mario who does hair and makeup... but let´s be honest... nobody is as a great as Franc.  

 

He works out of Top Salon now in Plaza Caracol and has his own direct line.  You can reach him from the US or Canada at 0115213221809358 or locally once in PV at 0443221809358.

 

so if you contact him from francgole.com it´s not Franc who replies, it´s Jesus or Mario.  

 

And if you are wondering why I know so much, it´s because I live in PV and was fortunate enough to discover Franc 5 years ago and since then have never gone to anyone else and when my man popped the question there wasn´t anyone else I would want to make my beautiful then Franc on my wedding day.

I am getting married in Puerto Vallarta July 4, 2012.  I am sooooo nervous about where to get my hair done.  Can you tell me if Franc is close to Los Muertos beach?  Either way, I will drive wherever to find him!  Please help me get in touch with him as I couldn't through that other email.

I think Franc is great if it's just you you are worried about .  If you want a party of you to go to the salon, then you might be better off at Salon Sebastian which has several stylists on staff to help - as mentioned, Franc is now at Top Salon at Plaza Caracol - it's not very far from downtown - maybe 15-20 minutes from Old Town/Downtown Vallarta.  

 

Shannon, one of our brides from last season, had Franc come to her villa and do her up-dos and her bridesmaids and he did a fantastic job - very professional.  This shows her hair a bit - but it was just the way she wanted it and I know she was very pleased.

hey all,  Do we know if Franc is still around? or is there someone else I should try? I am heading down to PV next week for a scouting trip, but we arent getting married till 2013.
