Four People Drown on North Shore in 2 Days

Three visitors drowned in two separate incidents Sunday afternoon near Queen’s Bath in Princeville and Kaua‘i Sands in Kapa‘a and a fourth person drowned yesterday morning while swimming at Hanakapi‘ai Beach, marking the fourth drowning death in two days on Kaua‘i as the season’s first major north swell rolled in.

There are high surf advisories all over many of the beaches on all the islands right now. Not many swimming in the water here on Maui now either. Kinda crappy weather everywhere making the water pretty scary right now.

Are you serious? You really feel the need to point out my use of horrible as "practicing to be on the network news"? I think it is horrible that people have died and i now think your attitude is 'horrible'.

first of all Jeff - it is personal because you attacked me. second, if you want to see judgemental, you should take a good, hard look in the mirror. you judged me for saying the word 'horrible' - talk about not practicing what we preach "indeed it is sad the opinions of some that judge too quicky before choosing empathy, understanding, and offering 'kokua' and compassion".

lastly, at what point did i ever say that Kauai was horrible or i didn't have compassion? you really need to , you are so out of line. for someone that has only posted 10 or 12 times, you should get to know people before you jump down their throats.

WTF. How is it at all a bad thing when someone says that this situation is horrible? And what is she "judging" anyway?
