Who's watching the 2008 MLB Playoffs?

*sigh* let me preface this by saying it was heartbreaking to see my Angels go down to the BoSox yet again. What can you say ~ ever since the Red Sox came back from an 0-3 deficit in the 2004 ALCS to the Yankees, they've been money in the post-season.

 

As a diehard Angels and Lakers fan you can only imagine this year has been tough sportswise, but the true sports fan in me can only appreciate how well the Boston teams have performed when it counts.

 

So here we are BoSox vs. Tampa and Dodgers vs. Phillies ~ any World Series predictions? I love the Tamps surprise success and always root for the underdog, but damn a Dodgers vs. Red Sox series has headlines and intriguing back stories written all over it!!!

Well, being a Philly girl...I am rooting for the Phils all the way.

my FI is at the game right now...He won club Box suite tix, so you can Imagine how excited he was!!

I live about 3 blocks from the stadium, I can see the people in their seats from my corner!! And when the crowd yells...I can hear It!!! It's awesome.

I LOVE October because of MLB post season...though it pretty much kills my sleep schedule for the month.

 

As much as it kills me that my Manny is a Dodger, I am actually hoping for a Dodgers/Sox match up. I just think it would make for some good baseball. ((Sorry Marie, it didn't break my heart to see the Angels go down...))

 

In any case even if the Sox don't take it all the way I can bask in the enjoyment of knowing Jeter and A-Rod had to go home and cry in each other's beer...

I'm sorta watching it. Being a jersey girl I've been rooting for the Philly's just cause CAN WE PLEASE GET A CHAMPIONSHIP for the love! My dad and uncle went to the game last night. I'm glad to see philly getting some love!

I'm beyond partial to this all... DIE HARD SOX FAN! It's taken us a long time... but we are "title town" as it is now called. I remember when I would skip my sr year, bring my bikini and sit in the bleachers with my GF's to tan and catch the game... It was an empty world out in the Bleachers. We might be the most expensive ball park, the smallest ballpark, but we all live and breathe the SOX!! YAY!!!

Go Phils!!! Being that I was born and raised here, I refuse to get my hopes up though because I've been hurt too many times before by my Philly teams...lol!

Boy, oh boy, I know I'm in the minority here, but, I am a diehard Mets fan. I grew up loving the Mets & Yankees but since I used to live right across the street from Shea Stadium my heart belongs to the Mets. That being said, since we've had back to back meltdowns, 2 years in a row I absolutely AM NOT, rooting for the Phillies!

 

I do like the thought of Torre & Manny going all the way as it does make a good story since the Yankees cut Joe loose & Manny said goodbye to Boston & an LA/BOSTON series would definitely be interesting.

 

That being said, right now, I'd love to see LA win it all. If the Phillies win I think I'll have to do something drastic

I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I'm gunning for a Phillies/Devil Rays World Series just because it'd piss Bud Selig off to not have the Dodger/BoSox matchup that he's dying for.
