pick my halloween costume shoes (pics)

Well, after watching a few episodes of Say YES to the Dress I was feeling down & out, and completely jealous of everyone finding their dream dress. So I decided to have a little bit of fun of my own.

 

I decided that at a completely unreasonable hour I would put on my Halloween costume & let you ladies decide what shoes I should wear this year. Oh the things we do when USMC husband is gone for the weekend...

 

I am going dress up as Amy Winehouse for a party this Halloween, and here's the plan. Dress from VS

 

a little Dorothy in the wizard of oz... but i thought it played up on Amy's super girlie side.

 

a crazy wig* from buycostumes.com. (*note: i did buy this wig last year... and the exact one i bought is no longer for sale. this one is very close, but not exactly the same)

and shoes from my personal collection. This is where BDW comes in

 

Here is a nice picture of me in the dress. lol, looking just as fab as the VS model. (ha!) But this is the wig and a quick example of the makeup i have planned. Depending on my mood I may also add a little bit of flour to my nostrils.

and for fun... here i am practicing my missing toothed crackedout growl.

 

So what do you think? Are the silver shoes just too much wizard of oz? are the zebra shoes too much pattern? Should I go to DSW tomorrow for a whole new pair?

Don't get me wrong- I love Amy's music and wish nothing but the best for her... but her style is so unique & it makes for a very fun low-maintainance costume.

i sorta think that the zebra shoes would look great! but make sure you get more opinions, my family always wants to send me on what not to wear!

Which would Amy where? I'm not really sure. But I like the zebra shoes the best. They stand out more and seem will seem different.

I would definitely go with the zebra, the silver almost look too cute, and the black would be too sensible for Amy lol And I'd go with more eye makeup too. When trying to dress like Amy, there's no such thing as too MUCH eye makeup lol Or even just some wacky fake eyelashes that are super long
