The original plans, before the resort closure, were to meet with Landy on Monday 11/24. I was also told by Anabel I think, to request for the florist to be there during the meeting, since I find it a bit difficult to decide on flowers based on the pictures sent. Now, We will have to see how things go...

Hi ladies! Just came back super late last night. I plan to post a wedding review by today or tomorrow.

Everything went great, ceremony was good, we were able to catch some sun but it was very windy.

I talked to Landy the day before I left and still no word. From what I have heard from some of the workers at Paradisus, lobbyists are now involved in the court proceedings.

So glad to be home.....I have tons and tons of mosquito and sand fleas/mites all over my legs. Bring plenty of bug spray (or you can buy stuff there).

Bring pants to sleep in at night...they got me good!

Chandra,

I had been wondering where you were lately. I am so sorry to hear that your health has not been the best. And even more upset that you are postponing your wedding. I am sure that was a har decison for you and your FI to make, however I truly believe everything happens for a reason. The reason will be revealed to you later I'm sure. But know that your health is most important and true love never fails.

By the way, that's the theme for my wedding. "True Love Never Fails..."

QUICK ARTICLE TRANSLATION – ONLY WHAT I CONSIDER THE MOST IMPORTANT LINES:

In an article from “Noticaribe” newspaper DATED 10/31/08 (see link) they say that the city of Tulum has reached an agreement with the environmental agency to basically allow the resorts that have been closed down to re-open & work during the high winter season.

The resorts in return have to make sure they do not add (negatively) to the environmental impact (that they already inflicted).

They say, among other things, that the priority is to recover jobs that have been lost by the closures, which amount to bet / 1, 200-1,400.

*You are welcome to translate the entire article in google if you like (keeping in mind it might not be completely accurate). Sorry I am not translating the whole thing…

We may have our weddings at DT!!!
