i found a dress on davidsbridal.com that i love and amazingly it's on sale for less than $200. it's from the db online collection, which means its only available online. i was wondering if anyone else had ordered from this collection and could tell me about their experiences. i'd like to know about the quality and all too. thanks!!

oh yeah. well, there are actually a couple. the first one is my favorite (and the one i was referring to):

David's Bridal - Bridal Gowns BR1025 BR1025

David's Bridal - Bridal Gowns BR1028 Pleated Charmeuse A-Line Gown with Empire Waist and V-Halter

David's Bridal - Bridal Gowns BR1007 Chiffon Empire Dress

David's Bridal - Bridal Gowns BR1022 Chiffon A-Line with Pleated Twist Knot Bust and Center Front Draping

sorry i couldn't attach the actual pictures. davids bridal has animation, movie type things rather than pictures.

i'd love if you'd let me know what you think! cheesy.gif

I got my dress from David's Bridal at the store on clearance although its listed on the site under the db online collection. I love the quality and price. It was a perfect fit so I didn't need any alterations. I think you will be happy with the quality. I was so happy with it I wrote a review on David's site. Check out the return policy for the online dresses. Hope this helps. Here's a link to my dress.

Every day type empire waist dresses look the best on me too, and that is why I thought I would want an empire waist wedding dress too..... that said the empire wedding dresses looked like CRAP on me. So I'd definitely go try on some different style wedding dresses to see what they actually look like on.

But I dress shopped at DB a few times, and overall I like the dresses. I just never found "the one" at DB. But my runner up was a DB dress.

I am the same way... Empire waist dresses are what I wear almost every day. When it came to my wedding gown; they weren't that flattering. I am not sure why.

I totally agree with the suggestion above... go out shopping and try on some dresses of similar style and others that are different. You will be surprised what looks good and what doesn't.
