My roomba ate my veil

Recommended Posts

Bad Bad Rhumba! I would also try to stich it, at least is is your veil and not your dress. Also if it on the left side you will prob not see it in your picts because it will be away from your guests and in most picts your DH can cover it. Good Luck!!!

aw that is just terrible :o( so sorry. id say try to stich it up and see how it looks. IF you decide to shorten it, just use the beads you already have on the veil, and sew on bottom on "new" shorten veil.

on a funnier note- we used to call my old boss "roomba" b/c he didnt do anything except roam the halls over and over again. he just circled the entire building.

Well I took it to one seamstress and they were talking about patching it, I walked out of there quickly. I am trying to see if I can take it to the place were my dress was altered. I am probably going to do it myself but I was hoping someone more skilled would do it for me. I will keep you all updated.

BTW Laughter is the overwhelming reaction. I think it will be funny in a month but not so much now.

Wow!! I hope that you can get it fixed, or sew it up yourself! Even with some stitching, if it is tiny it won't show in the photos, and probably unless someone is up in your veil noone will notice! But it is a shame sad.gif

Yes you cannot leave your Roomba unattended. Mine manages to lock himself in the bathroom everytime. I don't understand how it is even possible!

After many hours and much profanity, I sewed my veil. I did many well placed stiches so there is no hem. It looks better but not perfect. It looks like there is an imperfection in the veil but I am sure that the only person who will notice it will be me.

Oh and that one other person that will find it necessary to say something to me just because they have to.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I am a little less mad at roomba and may use it again soon. The alternative is actually getting out the vaccuum. We will see.
