Does anyone watch TrueBlood?

it wasn't that great an episode but it did have some classic lines! LOL "i'd wear him like a scrunchie" had me rolling, as did "i love the smell of nailpolish in the morning" and omg "worship him, bitches!"

but my fave of the night was: "you do have your faults but at least you have pants on" rofl.gif

i thought the yahtzee scenes were amazingly funny, and that was some serious sexual tension between the queen and eric ... very hot. i loved that her little boytoy was all, "um hello, it's your turn to make yahtzee!" hahaha

nice e-ring too, but i definitely could have done without the cheesy dance scene.

Hmm...well if no one else saw it, maybe we were confused. I was a few beers in at that point so who knows what was going on in my head.

Any theories on the kidnapper?

So many possibilities. Eric? Weres (finally!)? Lorena?

This show is all over the place. I don't mind the changes from the books now- I've accepted it. However, I'm pissed we saw so little of Eric. I was also getting pissed at the "engagement" because it was kinda shutting the door on Eric and Sookie hooking up. That is NOT ok with me. So the writers need to take their liberities elsewhere!

Haha Rachel I agree!! Bill is not even a big part of all the following books.. it's all ERIC!! They better not be changing it all that much grrrrrr.

The dancing was cheesy.. made me cringe a bit.

Bill could have been kidnapped by either a queen minion or Lorena is my guess.

All the favourite quotes you guys gave already are my favs too :)

I'm pretty much looking forward to season 3 because this is where the books got good for me. Hopefully that means the following seasons will be awesome!

My theories on the kidnapping run a little parallel with Book 3. I think the Queen has Lorena take him because he knows about Eric selling V. Based on things Alan Ball has said about Season 3, I think he ends up in Mississippi like in "Club Dead" so we'll get to meet Alcide and I think something will happen to "reverse" the engagement so that the Eric/Sookie door remains open. His hesitation in last nights show when the Queen makes a comment about him loving Sookie shows there are definite feelings there, even if he denies them.

I found these Alan Ball/Season 3 comments on Facebook:

The third season is loosely based on Charlaine Harris' third novel from the "Sookie Stackhouse" series, "Club Dead". Ball spilled, "...I'm not giving anything away when I say that we'll meet the Vampire King of Mississippi, Russell Edgington. And we'll encounter werewolves for the first time in the flesh; we've heard about them, but we'll meet them. I'm very excited about the character of Debbie Pelt. She's bad news."

Ball went further in revealing what season 3 would be like, saying "Everybody is struggling with identity in season three - What am I? Who am I? What is my life? ...And some people are like, 'Am I human? I always thought I was, but maybe I was wrong'. In one particular case, its like, 'Yes, honey, you were wrong'." Pressed further by TV Squad, Ball admitted that Sookie is not 100 percent human and that she is aware of it.

Those who will not be back for the third season next summer would be Godric, who is "really dead", and second season's villain, Maryann.

Awesome! I'm totally looking forward to the weres and Debbie Pelt. That should have some great action. I wonder if Quin will ever appear. I know he's not til WAYYYY late, but I don't think any show would be burdened by hot men.

However- I don't think I'm excited about the wahhhhhh "who am I?" crap. We already know she's not 100% human, hence the "glowing" hand trick. That wasn't a revelation. I mean- I can't do that. Can anyone else?? I hope it's not too existential. That sounds boring. Like we really want the theories on how all of these supernatural creatures came to be. I preferred Queen Sophie's short quip of "they imagined themselves into existance." Perfect! Now let's move on to the drama and action.

About Eric and Sookie he said:

“I canâ€t tell you if theyâ€re going to get together, because thatâ€s going to ruin the anticipation. But, if youâ€ve been following season two, heâ€s definitely been doing things to make her more vulnerable and more susceptible to him. And he does want her, heâ€s just not sure why. I think itâ€s deeper than just, “I want her because Bill Compton has her.†Although thatâ€s part of it, because Eric is a total alpha-dog."

Here is a link to another site about what he said about the show vs. books and Season 3:

As for Quinn...I think he will definitely show up at some point. And stangely enough, I wonder if they already have someone in mind to play him. I had googled the book "All Together Dead" a while back for some reason and found this pic of what I think is supposed to be Sookie and Quinn

Could easily be a photoshop job by a fan, which it most likely is, but still made me wonder.
