Possibly longest cold I've ever had

almost 3 weeks. Yes, 3 weeks! I have to drag my ass to work every day to work. I have a wedding this weekend that I totally can't miss since the bride will be one of the bridesmaids at my wedding.

 

I must have done something really bad in my past life to get this sick lol

I'm right there with you. I'm at 2.5 weeks & just now starting to lose the cough & sniffles.

This scares me... I'm just now coming down with something. It started this morning, and it's only getting worse. My head feels like it weighs 1000 lbs!

must be something in the air up here, because I have the same problem! I can't stop sneezing, my throat is constantly itchy/scratchy, and I have this ridiculous cough that comes out of nowhere.

Mine's been hanging on since early August, and shows no sign of letting go anytime soon. I had thought it was allergies, but really, this goes beyond any type of allergy problem I've had in the past.

 

Hope you feel better soon. I know when I'm feeling particularly awful, a chug of Dayquil helps.

hahaha... I think it's a girl from work who got me sick. She is very contagious, but it's weird because I haven't had a cold in seriously 4 years

If you've been sick that long, it's probably not just a cold. I'd go to the doc to make sure you don't have any sort of upper respiratory infection or a virus like strep throat. Strep definitely feels like a lingering cold after about a week of a sore throat.
