Getting married in Riviera Maya 1/1/08!!

Hi everyone!

 

My name is Melanie, and my fiance and I are getting married in Riviera Maya (or possibly Cancun) on January 1st, 2008. We're both really excited (although I think I'm probably more-so than he is - I haven't been able to think about anything else since we decided on this a few days ago). We've already told our closest family members, and they're looking forward to it, too.

 

Now I just need to start planning, and I think this forum is going to help a lot with that. First step is which resort to choose - there are SO many options!

Travel on that date will be a little expensive but it's doable if you get a great rate soon!!

Welcome, Melanie - what a great wedding date, and what a great way to start the new year! There are plenty of RM and Cancun brides on here - you'll get plenty of help. It's usually a little busier on the forum during the week - so be sure to keep checking back!

I have been reading through a lot of the threads, and they are WONDERFUL! There's so much information here. I will definitely share any information/tips I get over the coming months as well.
