Ok girls... I'm in too. I too am Canadian and I got it in last night from Amazon.ca. They had a deal where I got this one and also one called Cardio Sculpt for like $5 more. No idea how the other one is but I thought it would give me a bit of a change up. I went to go old walmart last night to and got my weights 3lb for now, 5lb for later, and my mat. I hope you all are right... I don't need to loose a lot just tone up but I'm not use to doing much at all so I'm a bit apprehensive. Fingers Crossed!!!

I just ordered mine from Amazon.com and it was US$8.49 (free shipping). My goal is to use this on the weekend at home for convenience and to supplement the cardiovascular and strength routine during the week. My abdomen is actually quite round and I am working on flattening it a bit for the wedding dress since it is fitted around the waist. Wish me luck!

Just wanted to share my results. I've been using it for 3 weeks (5 days a week) and I can DEFINITELY see results! My arms & legs have become incredibly toned and shapely. However, I haven't lost any pounds, but that is likely because I've been building muscle (which, obviously, weighs more than fat). As for my stomach, I wasn't seeing any results, so I added an extra set of butterfly crunches at the end of the workout, and now I'm starting to see some results.

Wanted to share my initial thoughts on this video, since I posted my doubts about it before. I finally got it and did the level 1 workout 2 times this week. I think I will be switching to level 2 next time I do it - as I posted before, I've been working out for many years, so level 1 wasn't as much of a challenge for me. I do, however, think that the interval training approach is an effective one - I think I'll be doing this video on days when I am short on time and can't work out for longer periods. I think it is a nice addition to my collection for time efficiency

 

I also have Results Fitness - Boost Your Metabolism, The Firm 500 Calorie Workout, and The Firm Maximum Bootcamp, and these are somewhat similar to the Jillian video. If any of you out there are looking for a longer workout but similar in training style to the Jillian video, these are 40-60 minutes long. Results Fitness also does a video called "10 Days to a Better Body" that includes 2-30 minute videos - one for upper, and one for lower body, so you can do one workout or both if you like for a longer workout.

oh my - I just ordered this DVD through netflix to test it out since the girls on shoutbox always rave about it...well I thought I was in good shape until I did level 1 on Monday...it wasn't hard - but my legs are sore today from those lunges! they always kill me...anyway, i'm interested to see how the rest works.

Same here Jess. Level 1 didn't kill me but I am totally still sore the day after doing it. I think I'll do Level 1 one more time before moving to Level 2...I'm terrified of Level 2!

I just got the video over the weekend and I tried Level 1 last night, to be honest I didn't think it was that bad, I expected way worse from everything I had heard. But this morning walking up and down the stairs in my heals my legs are burning like the fires of a thosand suns! Holy crap! I guess it worked better than I thought it did!
