I am in again for this!! This time I am going to focus on eating better. I workout usually 6 days a week but I eat like crap so I go up and down. The past two weeks we remolded our house so we had take out almost every day and I did not make it to the gym and I gained almost all the weight I lost in the last challenge. Hopefully this time I can keep it off.

Ugh, I'm up 4 lbs from the end of BL3. smile41.gif I've just been eating whatever I want and haven't been to the gym either cuz I've been crazy with work and school the last two weeks. And, I should be getting my period any second so I'm going to blame some of it on that. Let's see... any other excuses I can come up with? smile120.gif

Thank God its Wednesday.

Oh, and I agree that Morgan should get some kind of badge of honor. You are brave.

I thought the before pics were just something we did :o I guess no one else will be posting theirs? that is fine. but it will be great to see some after pics!!! I plan on taking pictures along the way. I've never really tried to lose weight before. i was always so skinny in high school. i got a little weight on me in college, but i was still really thin. since starting grad school, i have just kept gaining & gaining. my lifestyle is so healthy now too. i think about all the junk i ate in high school/ college and all the beer i drank...I guess that is just my metabolism slowing down. still, i don't want to give up on it.

well, the first season I was going to post them all - the before and after. then people decided they didnt' want me to. then it changed to people were going to post their own before/after pics ... but most people chickened out. i think it's great motivation to see the results, ya know? but whatever you all want to do!

OIC. I totally understand people not wanting to post them. but, i do suggest they take one just for their own motivation. it was a huge motivator for me.

before her wedding last year, my friend did a boot camp. she took a before picture, and then every week or so she took a picture - in the same outfit, same position, and same place in her house. it was easy to compare that way. and WOW could you totally see the results. it was great motivation for her.

for me, if i don't think the exercise is working, i won't keep it up. but if i saw results ... that would definitely motivate me to keep it up!

that is what i'm hoping for. I plan on putting on the same outfit & taking the same picture each week. I really think it will motivate me. hopefully it motivates others, too. I also hope by the end its a picture i can be proud of. i used to look great in those red shorts. now i wear big, baggy shorts when i work out.

I love that this isn't a competition with each other, but a competition with ourselves.

well, i'm in. just sent my weigh-in to ann, and i'm up almost five pounds since the end of BL3. how the hell do i let that happen? it was only two weeks!

but i hadn't been to the gym in those two weeks ... i was back this morning, so already a step in the right direction! i will try to take a before pic tonight, at least for my own motivation. i'm going to try to get them to do all my measurements for me at curves tomorrow. i definitely like seeing the difference in inches at the end!
