The Royal in PDC bride. Jan. 2009

Hello everyone, I love all the info, pics and ideas that this forum has to offer. I am getting married at the Royal in Playa del Carmen in January 2009. Most of the planning is now done but just all the little details to finalize. I have enjoyed reading the reviews and seeing the pictures of the weddings.

I am trying to find detailed info on the civil ceremony for Playa del Carmen. FI and I are both Canadians living in the US and are struggling to get info on how to get birth certificate (long form) transalted, then legalized before we go. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance!!!

Welcome to the forum!!!

In case you haven't run across it yet, here's the link for the Royal brides thread http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t17108. We check in regularly!

As far as the birth certificates go, I'm wondering the same as a PP. Can't you just contact the city of your birth to find out what you need to do? Have you asked Royal? I want to say they might have some info posted on the website that helps out with that. Oh, I just found a document from them that might help. Take a look at this. Sorry, I couldn't get it to just copy and paste so you'll have to use some points to download it. =(

Good luck!
