Cat people- How do you stop a cat from peeing?

It's kind of a DIY method but we had to use this years ago with my cat, Madonna, when she had a bladder infection...

take a squirt bottle and put just a couple drops of tea tree oil in it. Spray it around the areas the kitty has gone in or areas that may he or she may be attracted to.

A few drops are very mild and won't harm your carpet/upholstery, but kitty's nose will lead her to the correct place to do her business if everything else smells like vapo rub.

Our vet had recommended it as a mild way to get Mad back to the box and it really worked very well. I use the same method now to keep Puppy and Penguin from scratching the carpet/furniture, etc.
