invitation help please!

Has anyone done their own invitations where you use a personal photograph? I've got this great picture I took in Tulum - I drew a heart in the sand and put "M+D" inside...it would be awesome if I could incorporate this into my invitations. I was thinking of doing the invitations myself since we are only inviting about 30 people to our actual destination wedding. I want to do like a regular greeting card fold but landscape not portrait and have the heart in the sand picture take up the entire front of the card and then on the inside write our message. Kodakgallery has this option but I don't want it to be on crappy paper. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Basically it is your picture with text on vellum over the top. I hate the bow so we are going to be using something else instead. And we are putting it in a pocket fold envelope Carla

I didn't order them, I got the picture from a invitation website. I think it was here: Wedding Invitations

I am actually going to be making my own, much cheaper plus I am so a DIY girl.

mandy- if you find making your own invitations to be overwhelming and you're looking to go the less expensive route, i'd say definitely go with vistaprint. i used vistaprint for my engagement party invitations and they were beautiful. everyone commented on how nice they turned out. i only spent about $40 for 30 invites and invitations, but no one would've guessed!
