Engraving on wedding bands

I was just wondering how many people will have something engraved on the wedding bands. We are considering it but haven’t made a decision. It got me to thinking of other things to engrave other than just the date or "I love you".

 

What did you put engrave on the rings?

I am thinking of engraving the words "a single step".

This is from the chineese proverb by Lao Tzu ~ "The journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step".

I guess this is what you would call our wedding saying since it is on almost all our stuff. Carla

My e-ring says "past present future" but it came that way. I might get FIs ring to say the same

in the groom's ring write (brides name) to (grooms name) in the bride's write (groom's name) to (bride's name) plus the date.
