I work for Sovereign Bank and yes, WAMU isn't doing so hot. We have been lucky at Sov to not be struggling. Our rates are competative (Not 5% CD rates like WaMu but that's also a red flag to have it that high when they're doing so bad). It's always good to have money in different banks and not put all your eggs in one basket.
