Is Sushi Bad For You?

I've been trying to watch my calorie and fat intake, and FI and I ordered sushi last night. I looked on the internet to find nutritional content, but I didn't really find anything specific. Just that it's high in cholesterol. Anyone know anything about sushi? Should I feel guilty?

It depends on what you ate-if you had tempura then no-if you had something like spicy tuna or california rolls then they are not bad at all.

I follow weight watchers and 4 1" x 1" spicy tuna maki rolls are only 2 points, which is really low.

carefull though.

white rice is a carb killer!

We make our own sushi and use brown rice. Much healtier!

Very smart to substitute with brown rice although I wish I knew how to make my own sushi.

Sushi is not bad for you, but do watch the rice intake. Sashimi is excellent and low fat.

sushi is not bad for you as long as you don't get the tempura.. & try to substitue the white rice for brown rice (if they will do that0.. that helps although sometimes it kind of falls apart.. depending on where you get it from.

 

I think a salmon avocado roll w/ white rice is almost 300 calories..

 

it's when you eat 2-3 rolls that it becomes non healthy anymore..
