I can't remember if anyone on here is a vet.... if so I'd like to solicit some dog elbow sore advice! (i don't like the vet i found in AZ. they shove meds at you like it's nobody's business)

I'm not a vet...but just got back from one because my little guy had sores in his armpits and inside of his legs. Turns out it's a skin infection. They look like tiny red dots and a few look pimply. He's on antibiotics and benedryl. No known cause for this just a random infection. Does your dog have one sore or a rash?

It must be that time of year! Our dog has been on 3 different meds for the past 2 weeks due to a skin infection...red spots, missing fur, sounds familiar! It isn't cheap to cure either. We got insurance for her a few months back so we are waiting to see if anything will be reimbursed.

Good luck. It's no fun when our little pets are suffering!

Try some stuff called fuciderm i think its spelt like that. Its great for hot spots and its not really expensive. Not sure if you can get it over the counter tho.

It might sound strange but I used green tea ointment on meg and it worked great - try that its cheap and if it doesn't work won't do any harm
