Invites VS Attendees

ours is going to be super small. I sent out 50 STDs to mainly family and very close friends. We expect somewhere around 15- 20 people to actually attend.

I think it depends on your guests, budget, and cost to attend. Also, here in Canada you pay for the flight and room together.

We sent out 95 STDs a month ago and 16 are already booked (including us).

Price pp is $1240.

I have sent out about 50 STD's and expect about 12-15 people to go.

I think it greatly depends on your location and cost.

 

We sent out 130 STDs, and are expecting (and hoping) that no more than 40 acutally come. I think a realistic expectation for our wedding is a guest list of about 30. We sent STDs to all our family and most of our friends, but we are thinking only our immediate families and closest friends will actually make the trip due to the expense involved.

We sent out 65 invites. Pretty much none of our guest list is coming. We've got 11 people going (that includes FI and I) and I'll be really surprised if we book anyone else. It's bitter-sweet, yes we both wanted a simple DW, but we also wanted more than just immediate family in attendance. Our closest friends arent even able to make it.. we've got bad timing b/c most of our guest list are in the middle of lay-offs, having kids, moving and/or starting out careers. All except us.. hehe. Oh well, I have to keep in the back of my mind that we're still going to have a kick ass 2 weeks in Jamaica, while everyone else is stuck in cold rainy Canada in April!
