Finally Picked a Place!!! Valentin

After lots of searching, researching, and questioning we have finally selected a place and date. June 11th at Valentin! I am so excited!!!

Soon2BePowers.... Are you using a TA? My TA can't seem to get anybody at the Valentin to respond to her emails or phone calls. Any suggestions?

Yes I am using a TA, but I did all of the communication with Valentin. I emailed Guillermo some initial questions and it took him 2 days to reply. Then when we decided to book I emailed him back. It had been about a 1 and a half and i hadn't heard from him so we called. The first time they said he was not in so we called back that afternoon and he was there. After talking to him I felt very comfortable. I think that they have not planned very many weddings and are still working out some kinks (in the communication area).
We booked and are very excited!

Have you checked prices? If you don't mind sharing what kind of prices are you getting?

Hi so I was told by the Valentin that I had June 5th, 6 pm locked in for my wedding, but now they are coming back with, "Another wedding is already planned at 5:30 so the 6 pm slot won't work". Did anything like this happen with anybody? Also now they are asking for an $800 deposit to reserve my time slot. This is making me worried that something else might change down the road.
