Welcome and congrat! Family friend in Mexico - I think Palace Resorts are great for families! Maybe Beach Palace or Cancun Palace in CUN? Azul's are great too - in Riviera Maya. Maybe Azul Blue or Azul Beach. Welcome.

Welcome and congrats! Lots of options, this is the toughest place! Maybe start browsing the "wedding reviews" and pictures... see if any of the places match what you are thinking... then lurk around some of the threads and ask questions!

Another thing that helped me was to talk to a TA... I wanted a direct and reasonable flight so that narrowed it down, then I decided that I wanted the sunset so that put me on the Pacific side... and then I wanted to get married on a deck overlooking the ocean... narrower. I kept doing this until I came up with my perfect destination!
