I dunno. Even though Brit was shitty, I'm sure MTV still thrived off the performance. I'm sure it created more buzz, than her previous "good" performances did. I bet the execs all secretly have their fingers crossed that she falls asleep during her opener- much like her performance last year. LOL

Personally, I like Britney and I feel sorry for all the media crap she has taken. I think it's a brave woman to take all that garbage and still return- or maybe it's just stupidity. haha I dunno. Anyways, I hope she does a funny SNL style song and dance like most of the openers feature.

Speaking of Britney, I was just reading about the book her mother wrote. Apparently her mother says some not so flattering things about Briteny including things I think are no one's business (like when she lost her virginity).

 

Unfortunately I'm swamped with academic reading for the next few months, but I hope to read this book over the break (just to see if it's as bad as the media is making it seem).

Ugh- Lynn Spears should seriously have her ovaries ripped out and hung on a tree. That way she could charge $20 for viewing rights and stop using her children to feed her bank account.

Perez has posted the "rehearsal" video. he also has excerpts from Lynne's book and she completely sells out Britney but not so much JamieLynne. Looks like she preferred being estranged from her daughter b/c I don't think I could talk to my mother if she wrote all those things about me, even if they were true. Some things like losing your virginity, if expressed to your mom, should be private.
