Wow this place is incredible so much info! So much I got distracted -- must focus must find location. Thinking Dreams Cancun but not a fan of crowds. And not enough points to read attachments --oh what is a girl to do.

I know there are plenty of girls getting married at Cabo Surf Hotel - look for Janet1111 and her review. It's a smaller hotel if you don't like the big resort idea.

Thanks I'll look it up. Trying to stay away from cabos going there for a dental vacation in November but I'll give it a look.

I am getting married at a place called Las Caletas in Puerto Vallarta - if you're looking for a more private wedding, this is an option. You take a boat ~45 min. from Puerto Vallarta to Las Caletas - and you have your wedding and reception at a private beach cove area. Then afterwards you take the boat back. If you want to hear more - let me know.

You're welcome. I remember being at the stage where I was ready to give up the DW idea because it was too overwhelming. All I could find was info. on weddings at big resorts, and for some reason that just didn't seem like "us." - my sister somehow stumbled across the Las Caletas website. But then I couldn't find anyone that knew anything about it. And now here we are with about 15 Las Caletas brides on here!

 

I am so glad I didn't give up on the DW idea - and am even happier that I found this forum. The girls (and guys!) here are great, and so helpful.

 

Anyway - it's getting late, and I need to work on invitations! Or go to bed - one of the two!
