Shopping for My wedding Dress

Okay girls. I have my first appointment to look for my wedding dress this Saturday and I'm feeling very anxious. Mainly because I'm not at my ideal weight and a couple of my friends told me that the samples they tried on were too small and could not be zippered up. I'm afraid this will happen to me and I don't want to leave the salon feeling chunky. I'm a size 8 right now in regular clothes, but I'm unsure how wedding gowns are sized. Any thoughts?Should I wear my Spanx?

Your a size 8? I think you will be perfectly fine. I'm a size 12 and most the dresses did not zip up all the way, but I still got an idea of what they looked like and what I liked. Most of the dresses I saw were sizes 10-12, so they might be snug on you but I think it will fit just fine!

I don't think you have anything to worry about! They might be a bit tight, or not zip up quite all the way, but I think you'll be fine. I totally understand about leaving feeling bad about yourself...DON'T let it happen! You are beautiful right now, even if you're not quite to your ideal weight. You are going to have so much fun trying dresses on...enjoy your time and try not to worry if they don't quite fit...no big deal. You're beautiful. You're beautiful.
