Booking the restaurant/reception...

I know that Chandlyn is supposed to contact me a couple of months before the wedding...but has anyone been able to book their restaurant and reception before she contacts you?

Mine is booked at Mammee Bay. I just sent her an email and she was fairly quick to respond.

She has been good about most things considering how many brides she has to take care of.

Definitely contact her now & let her know what you would like to reserve. Things get booked quickly.

I got my TA to call and book everything...I did it almost a year away from my wedding date!

My TA booked my poolside reception too a few months ago, so it can def. be booked more than a year in advance

I emailed her and she booked my reception also.

I e-mailed her a couple of days ago but she hasn't got back to me yet...I know she's busy. Good to know that I can book it now though!

My wedding is not until April 22nd 2009, and I have already booked, my poolside reception, dj, cocktail hour. So you can definately book, I emailed Chandlyn and she got back to me quick. Also I have booked my outside photograper, and I have been talking to a few different florists. You can do a ton before you get there!

Be patient. It could be due to Gustav hitting...things may be a little caotic down there right now.

I also made my bookings with her via e-mail for 04/09. She did take a week or so to get back to me though.
