Hi! My name is Gem and I just got engaged last Saturday!! We just started talking about our "wedding vision" and love the idea of a destination wedding. I am not sure yet if this is feasible (still need to check with our families about their thoughts on this), but it would be a dream come true if we could make this happen. We are thinking of a wedding in Hawaii or Mexico in Summer 2008. Can't wait to learn from all the brides in this forum!

Congratulations!!! I'm so jealous (I don't have a ring yet sad.gif)

Just a warning, when ever the idea of a destination wedding is thrown around, a lot of people say "but then grandma won't be able to come..." Just remember, it's YOUR day. And you can always include grandma in other things, like dress shopping or something like that which will make her feel involved.
