I know I thought it was really funny when they had Hannah at the beginning and the teacher made mention of how old she looked because her "mom" was so much older looking.

I guess I have gotten used to how old the kids look at school, but I have all seniors so that might be why. I do think they all look a lot older with as much makeup as they wear. Naomi looks the oldest to me, she does not look like a sophomore AT ALL.

Hmmmm, I am drawing a blank on Hannah. I didn't watch the first few episodes, so maybe I missed it. Can you/anyone offer a refresher?

I see teenagers pretty frequently, so I guess that's why it's not so striking to me either. But yeah, if I compare myself as a teenager, to the way teenage girls look today... I looked NOTHING like that. Hell, there are teenage girls who look older than I do at 30. It's crazy.

 

I thought the comment about Hannah was funny too. It's too bad they didn't feature her character more, although I think someone did mention the timing being off in re: to her and Silver being in High School at the same time.

 

Carly, Hannah appeared VERY briefly in the first episode. She was doing an intro or something for the school's tv news cast. I believe Navid was directing her or something. If you blinked, you would have missed it.

oh it was funny they just started the series out with the kids watching the annoucements on tv and the girl who was doing the broadcast was hannah zuckerman vasquez which would be Andrea's daughter and the teacher guy made a comment like "what is that girl 30 or something" it was funny and I think it was a nice nod to the old timers like us watching the show.

It kinda made me feel like they were going to keep the traditions of the show in tact.

Hannah and Silver would actually be one year apart, well almost two. Erin was born when they were seniors and Hannah was born when they were freshman in college, so its not impossible. I think they graduated in 94' so Erin would actually be turning 15 this year and Hannah should only be 13 or 14. I think if my quick math is right

Ohhhhhhhhh, I remember that now, but I didn't know that Hannah was supposed to be Andrea's daughter, so I guess it just went over my head. Thanks for the recap!

i heart aunt becky, but she's driving me nuts in this show. i need more old 90210-ers to continue to watch -- esp. b/c it's against idol.
