Paradisus Punta Cana Symbolic Ceremony

Recommended Posts

We are getting married in May at the Paradisus Punta Cana. I just found out that the ceremonies are only performed in Spanish. Does anyone know any way of having the ceremony performed in English other than flying someone in?

Our wedding coordinator translated for us at PPC. Or you can have a family member read an English version of it for the translation.

We added the Hand Ceremony and had my Uncle come up to read it in English.

It's very simple, although I stressed about it at first too. Don't worry! Our WC was great in translating for us!

Congratulations on your wedding at the PPC! I got married there in July. You can ask the wedding coordinator for a copy of the vows via email and she will send them to you already written on word document - ask her to send you the snad ceremony vows as well she has everything written in English already. Either the WC will translate or you can pick someone thats at your wedding. I had a friend do it and she was so honored - it was simple since all she really had to do was read from the script handed to her. We did the sand ceremony as well and it really added something unique to the vows. Its also a beautiful treasure to take home with you in the vase.

We added a Hand Ceremony, but we LOVED the fact that it was short and sweet!

I am going to add the sand ceremony which his sister is going to read and I am going to have my cousin read the english translation. We are not having a wedding party..just a MOH and BM..and my littler sister is going to walk our son down the aisle..he will be just turning two......so I wanted to add in the people that would have been in the party to the ceremony somehow. We are both going to pick a poem and read it in addition to our vows...I thought it would be a nice touch. We are not going to show the other which poem we picked.
