Those going to Valentin!

I am so excited that some of you are going to the Valentin soon. I can't wait to see your pictures and hear about your experiences. I am booked for June 11, 2009.

Cowman1999-the one thing I forgot to ask was how many weddings they have each day (this is kind of an important question). If you found the answer let me know. Let me know if you book a date, it sounds like we might be there the same time. I am traveling June 8th-17th.

FYI, when you say next door pleas keep in mind its a few miles away and they would have to take a taxi. The Valentin is at least a mile off the road if not more.

Thanks so much!
I also want to make a point that I was told by the WC at Valentin. There is no way under any circumstances, at all that children can come onto the resort. Not even for a wedding ceremony. This was also confirmed by reading a lot of other brides stories. Apparently they are unwilling to make any exceptions because if they did it once, they would have to do it all the time. So, unless they plan on just staying at another resort and not coming to the wedding, you may want to leave them home or possibly go to another resort. You may want to confirm with the WC that this hasn't changed, but they seemed pretty adamant about it.
I hope this helps!!!

While we were there we did see a family with children on the beach. Apparently the ocean and part of the beach are government owned and therefore resorts cannot restrict access to them. The resorts may own part of the beach but not all of it.

If you are standing on the beach with your back to the resort there are houses (one of them being Jerry Van Dyke's) on the left and then pretty far to the right it seemed to be more active. Perhaps another resort but I am not sure.
