February 09 Brides

Recommended Posts

We just checked another item off our list we ordered our rings. Now we just have to wait for them to be made. The biggest thing I need to do now is find the attire for my MOH and 2 FGs and my FI needs to pick out what the guys are going to wear. Oh yeah another biggie is our music for the reception that is probably the hardest task next to picking out a place.

We still did not do our invites we are going tonight too look, for those that sent out invites what was your RSVP date? I am thinking of making it Dec 12th since that is when the final payment is due for those on a payment plan but others can still book after that hmmm....

  • 2 weeks later...

We are finally starting so see those last minute stragglers booking their cabins! We are up to 17 cabins now = 39 people. My pre-travel brochure kicked everyone into cruise mode I guess.

Of course I already ran out to get my OOT bag goodies so obviously I'll need to hunt for more of the same items...this could be fun. I guess it's a good problem to have. The more the merrier!

Are you guys going to do a hair trial? I am not but am torn between an up-do I love for my BM hair (so much I want it for my own) or a 1/2 up do that is super cute. I guess I'll make a finally decision on the day of. Go for the 1/2 up and if I hate it tell her to put it all up.

I agree, time is totally flying by! Pictures are blocked at work so I can't see all of your post sad.gif. Darn work!

I can't believe it's already almost November! I'm trying to work on a ceremony program and photoshare card. I also thought about doing a documents checklist for our guests. I've heard the cruise lines are being really strict about people forgetting certain documents and checking in ahead of time. They won't let them on the ship if it's all not complete so far in advance. Now that would be stressful!

Yeah, get the commish on the phone...LOL! Last February on Super Bowl Sunday it hit FI & I that we should check into the 2009 date. Low and behold our cruise leaves from Miami on Super Bowl Sunday! We were kind of stressed about that because the Super Bowl is in Florida. I guess it's 4 hours away from Miami so that's good. I've heard they put it on the big screens on the ship and also do a big party. Should be a fun way to watch!!!

I read on cruise critic that people were being turned away from the port for not checking in at least 90 minutes prior to sailing. It's a new government rule they have to follow strictly. That would be horrible if a guest was turned away! Talk about putting a damper on the whole trip!
