Any Occidental Grand Xcaret brides out there?

My future husband found this resort and fell in love with the place as it is so close to the eco park. Are there any future or previous OGX brides out there that could possibly give me any info regarding weddings/receptions at this resort? When I tried to email the WC at the resort, she was unable to give me any info as we are not looking into getting married until April 2010 and they are only concentrating on 2008/2009 weddings. Anything from wedding packages to locations would help to get the ball rolling for wedding planning!!

I'm not a previous or future OGX bride, but a friend of mine was just married there in March. I can send you some pics of where they had their reception - it was gorgeous!! I have to say the resort is absolutely perfect! What's your email address?

Hi! I photographed a beautiful wedding there in May for a BDW member. The bride posted a very thorough review and her photographs. I think they might help with your planning. If you wish to choose your own photographer I would suggest that you check into the hotel's policies before booking just to make sure it is not a problem. Here are the links...
